  1. Fancy indeed :3
I can think up some good use for them. Just to confirm, but they're paintery style, yes?
If so, is it possible for me to make them more pixelly, so they don't stand out odd with XP RTP or is this impossible?

    1. They are, indeed, painterly. I think it's probably easier to pixelate smaller objects, so definitely give it a try. Just make sure you go around the outlines, as well. :D

  2. I'm reading all your old posts checking out your great content, when I see your birthday post from last year. Figure I have to wish you a happy birthday now that I've seen that a year later! Keep up the great work!

  3. Hi! I just bought the RPG maker vx ace on s team as it was on a 50% discount sale and im pretty new to game making. I chanced upon your Tiles from the RPG maker forum and downloaded some of your tiles. Being a noob in this game making field, i'm having trouble importing those tiles. After doing a bit of research I learnt that you can indeed import tiles using F10 and F9. But the thing is that those tiles that I downloaded have many pictures and I'm having trouble putting all of them into the same Tileset as I'm limited to only B,C,D and E which means 4 tiles. 4 tiles means and only 4 of those pictures? Is there a way where i can combine the tiles together? Sorry for the noob questions.

    1. Yes, you can combine tiles with an art program like Photoshop or Gimp.

You can check out this tutorial:
      http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/3415-guide-to-simple-tileset-edits-rearranging-clumping-and-recoloring/

It explains pretty well how to edit and rearrange tiles. :)

  4. Oh gosh I feel like I'm gonna explode with the nubish questions im gonna ask. Please excuse me~. I managed to combine tiles with Gimp like stated in that link. Now I only have 2 problems(so far). There are empty white spaces between objects that show in the RPG maker, how do i get them to change to the default background? Also I placed an object from that Tileset combined with the tiles onto my map but my character is able to walk through it when its not supposed to. Is there a way to fix these problems? I don't think the guide explained how. I'm really sorry for troubling you =((

    1. For the white spaces, you may have to make them transparent. I THINK you can open it up, select the white, and delete it. I was never able to get GIMP to work on my computer. D=

Have you checked the passibility of the tileset? Usually when you import new tilesets, you have to to go the database and make sure no one can walk through it.

I'm not familiar to VX or VX Ace, but it shouldn't be that much different than XP.

      Good luck!

    2. Oh I finally got it! It has to do with the transparency thingy. Thanks!

  5. how do i select the white and delete it?

    1. Does GIMP have a magic wand tool? In Paint.net all you have to do is hold SHIFT and click the white, which should select it. Maybe it's something similar? XD

    2. It will be messy to delete it, even with a wand tool, and you will have problems with shadows or semi-transparent areas.

When you're making your new file, make sure the setting is "Transparent Background". :)

    3. Oh i use the fuzzy selector on the background and then hit delete.

  7. Hey Luna - it's Strawberrii from Shigi's forum. :D

I was wondering if you ever thought of making multiple tabs for your blog! Like a tab for your games (one for Twice Upon a Hero and Starlight) and some for your resources, etc. It might make it easier for people to se your work that way!

I love your creativity and I hope to see more from you soon! :D

    1. Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been away due to health issues.

I will definitely look into making some kind of tabs. Not sure if it's possible to do so easily and I'm not well-versed in HTML editing. But hopefully I'll be able to figure something out.

In the meantime, I've tagged all resource posts with a "resource" label. When I've got a free moment, I'm going to go through the labels again and organize things even better.

And thank you! I'm always glad to hear from people. :D

    2. It's alright! Blogspot actually comes with a built-in tab system thingymabob! Haha. I've been using them like crazy!

Tagging can help too. Maybe I'm just crazy in organization (though my PC desktop looks terrible). XD

      Thanks for the response.

    3. Huh, I didn't see that option for the theme I'm using. I have to take a closer look.

Thanks for letting me know about it. :D

    4. I like your theme. XD I didn't know themes depending on tabs. I think they are officially called pages in blogspot. o.o
